That the friars should not blaspheme nor detract, but love one another…

Let all the friars beware of themselves, so that they do not calumniate [others] nor contend in words (cf 2 Tm 2:14), on the contrary let them strive to keep silence, whensoever God would bestow the grace upon them. Nor let them quarrel among themselves nor with others, but let them take care to humbly respond saying: I am a useless servant (cf Lk 17:10). And let them not grow angry, because everyone who grows angry with his brother, will be answerable to judgement; he who says to his brother “Raca!” will be answerable to the Council; he who will have said, “Fool!”, will be answerable to the fire of Gehenna (Mt 5:22). And let them love one another just as the Lord says: “This is my commandment, that you love each other, just as I have loved you” (Jn 15:12). And let them show from their works (cf Jm 2:18) the love, which they have for each other, just as the Apostle says: “Let us not love in word or tongue, but in work and truth” (1 Jn 3:18). And let them blaspheme no one (cf 1 Tt 3:2); let them not murmur, nor detract others, because it is written: Whisperers and detractors are hateful to God (cf Rom 1:29). And let them be modest showing every gentleness to all men (cf Tt3:2); let them not judge, nor condemn. And, just as the Lord says, let them not consider [even] the least sins of others (cf Mt 7:3; Lk 6:41), let them rather on the contrary recognised their own in bitterness of their own soul (Is 38:15). And let them strain to enter through the narrow gate (Lk 13:24), because the Lord says: “Narrow is the gate and crooked (arcta) is the way, which leads to life; and few there are, who find it.” (Mt 7:14).
On recognizing the spirit of God; Thus can the servant of God be known, if he has the spirit of the Lord: when the Lord works through him anything good, if his flesh for that reason does not exalt itself, since it is always contrary to every good, but if rather he holds himself up before his own eyes as more vile and esteems himself less that all men.

Jesus and the Victim Soul: “See, Lord, I couldn’t do anything right without you. The meditations were so bad that I didn’t have the courage to offer them to you. At communion time, I did not feel like staying with you for long because I didn’t feel the attractions of your love. I always felt the emptiness and the pain of your absence which made me suffer agonies of death. My natural inclination was to hurry through everything in order to escape the pain of being alone, especially since it seemed a waste of time to spend a lot of time doing them.”
Then He kindly taught me saying, “You were wrong to be so upset. Don’t you know that I am the Spirit of peace, and that the first thing I advised you was to never lose your peace of heart?” Then regarding prayer, when you cannot concentrate, don’t think about anything except remaining calmly in that state….in the matter of Communion, when you don’t feel the attraction of my love, remain quiet and ask for the graces and helps you need. If you are so oppressed now, what will happen when I share my scourges, thorns and nails with you.?…you will make thirty-three visits to me daily in every present moment, at all times and in all places and wherever you are to visit me in the Blessed Sacrament. You will send me your kisses of love and I will bless you with rest in me.”
