Jesus, Divine Mercy; Divine Will; Divine Love…Living Host
Our Lord says: My Divine Mother; hearing Herself called by a Divine Will, which has always been integral and triumphant in Her, has quickly noticed that one of the Celestial Family was calling Her upon the earth; and She said to all of Heaven: ‘Let us go, let us go. It is one of our family that calls us to fulfill the duties of the family to which we belong…’ And behold, look at them all around us: the Virgin, the Saints, the Angels, in order to do the acts of adoration that you want to do, and the Divinity in order to receive it . (Vol 18, Pg 94)
The Eucharist
The Eucharist is greatest gift of Divine Mercy that the Father has given us
Faustina: I find myself so weak that were it not for Holy Communion I would fall continually. One thing alone sustains me, and that is Holy Communion. From it I draw my strength; in it is all my comfort. I fear life on days when I do not receive Holy Communion. I fear my own self. Jesus concealed in the Host is everything to me. From the tabernacle I draw strength, power, courage and light. Here, I seek consolation in time of anguish. I would not know how to give glory to God if I did not have the Eucharist in my heart.
(Diary of Blessed Faustina 1037 )
This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Happy are those who are called to His supper. Lord, I am not worthy to receive You, but only say the word and I shall be healed.
After receiving the precious Body and Blood, we should contemplate this profound gift.
Trust and Mercy
The message of Divine Mercy, that is, to trust in the Lord and be merciful to others, is an repetition and continuation of the Communion Rite in the celebration of the Eucharist, beginning with the Lord’s Prayer, which expressed in terms of trust and mercy: is right throughout scripture,
(Rom 11:32) Our Father, “rich in mercy” (Eph 2:4) may Your will to “have mercy on all” be done in us so that Your name may be hallowed on earth as in heaven. May Your kingdom of Mercy Incarnate, be present among us. As we trust in You each day and mercifully forgive one another, deliver us from the kingdom of the Evil One.
(2 Cor 1:3), Father of all mercies may Your mercy be made present, by our trust in You and our mercy toward one another.
In the celebration of the Eucharist, the Priest asks for the blessing of all mercy, that is, Peace. The gift of the Holy Spirit, a peace and mercy that will keep us free from sin, and protect us from all anxiety, as we wait in joyful hope, for the glorious coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
The Divine Mercy message was given to us, to prepare us for this final coming, and to give us peace.
As In preparation for the Eucharist, the priest prays the words of Jesus at the Last Supper,
“My Peace I give you, My Peace I leave you†and on that first Low Sunday night,
“Peace be with you†and then he extends that peace to all.
Blessed Faustina records the words of Our Lord about peace:
Mankind will have no peace until it turns with trust to My mercy. Tell aching mankind to come close to My Merciful Heart, and I will fill it with peace
When we call upon the “Lamb of God,” we call upon Jesus Who is both Priest and Victim and Who is the source of all mercy, From the pierced side of the risen Lamb of God, comes the flow of blood and water, the sacramental life of the Church. This is the Lamb of God, lifted up before our eyes by the celebrant.
We must then all admit to our unworthiness to receive this Lamb.
We are all unworthy, but God in His great mercy humbled Himself to be the Lamb, that we receive and consume, and so be transformed.
A common union-in-Christ
We should not just receive Him, but we should enter into communion with Him, a common union-in-Christ, According to St. Augustine, we are to become what we eat! We are to become, more and more, the very image of God, living icons of His trust and mercy.
True devotion, leads us to an inner conversion to become images of what we are devoted to. By our devotion to the Divine Mercy, we are to become “living icons of Mercy” a living witness of trust and mercy,
like Blessed Faustina we should be living images of the merciful Saviour,
Faustina prayed: I want to be completely transformed into Your mercy and to be Your living reflection O Lord, may the greatest of all divine attributes, that of Your unfathomable mercy, pass through my heart and soul, to my neighbour (Diary of Blessed Faustina).
A living Eucharist and Chaplet.
Like Blessed Faustina, each of us should become a living Eucharist, a wafer, blessed, broken, and given to others.
In this way we truly extend the Mass to each other, and again like Blessed Faustina, we should become a living chaplet of Divine Mercy by offering all our sufferings in union with the passion of Jesus in atonement, united with His Divine Will, for our sins and those of the whole world. Our offerings alone, are a mere nothing, but united with Christ, they can be a powerful plea for mercy, for ourselves, our families, and for the whole world.
Our Lord told Blessed Faustina that we are to radiate His mercy to others:
Tell (all people), My daughter, that I am Love and Mercy itself. When a soul approaches Me with trust, I will fill it with such an abundance of graces, that it cannot contain them within itself, but radiates them to others.
In other words, we are to radiate His mercy! His peace! His forgiveness!
We are to become what the Priest expresses in the prayer after the Lord’s Prayer: Delivered from evil and filled with peace and mercy, freed from sin and anxiety, as we joyfully wait for the coming of Jesus Christ our Lord.
This is Peace and Mercy
This is the peace and mercy Jesus gives us on Easter Sunday night as recorded in the Gospel of St. John ( Jn 20) and proclaimed on the Feast of Divine Mercy. This is the peace the priest blesses us with, and which we exchange with one another. This is the peace and mercy we receive and enter into communion with. This is the peace and mercy we are to radiate and share with others. We should turn to Jesus with trust, receive His mercy with thanksgiving, and share His trust and mercy with great joy.
Both the Divine Mercy message, of trust and mercy, and the devotions to the Divine Mercy repeat, extend, and continue the offering of the Immaculate Victim of the altar, and the whole of the Communion Rite of Mass.
We are to imitate what we celebrate and become what we consume. We are to be living icons of Mercy, here on earth, glorifying the name of the Eternal Father, fulfilling His will and striving to have mercy on all. Thus we make mercy present, and make His kingdom among us present, by our trust in Jesus and by our lives of mercy toward one another.
In this way we defeat the kingdom of Evil and give all glory to God the Father:
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are His, now and forever. Amen.

Luisa Picarreta
The double seal of the Fiat in all created things.
Victim Soul: Continuing in my usual state, I was thinking again about the Holy Divine Volition, and my always adorable Jesus clasped me in His arms, and as He sighed intensely, I felt His breath descend deep into my heart. And then He told me:
Jesus: “Daughter of my Will, my omnipotent breath gives you the life of my Will. In fact, for one who does my Will, my Will administers to her Its breath as life; and as It breathes upon her, It moves away from her all that does not belong to Me, and she breathes nothing but the air of my Will. And just as the air is inhaled and exhaled, the same for the soul: it is a continuous receiving of Me, and a giving of herself to Me at each breath.
My Will hovers over all Creation - there is nothing in which my Volition does not have Its seal. As I pronounced the Fiat in creating things, my Will took dominion over them, and made Itself life and preservation of all things.
Now, this Will of Mine wants all things to be enclosed within Itself in order to receive the requital of Its same noble and divine acts. It wants to see the air, the wind, the fragrance, the light of Its Volition, hover over all human acts, in such a way that, as Its acts hover together with those of the creatures, they may blend together and form one single thing.
This alone was the purpose of Creation - that the emanations of the wills be continuous. I want it, I demand it, I expect it. This is why I am in such haste that my Will, Its value and Its effects become known - so that the souls who live in my Will, with their continuous emanations in my Will, as they do their acts, will diffuse them like air over everything, and their acts will multiply in all the human acts, investing and covering everything, as acts of my Will. Then will I obtain the purpose of Creation; my Will will rest in them and will form the new generation, and all created things will have the double seal of my Will: the Fiat of Creation, and the echo of my Fiat in the creatures.”
March 24, 1922
The souls who live in the Divine Will, with their acts, will substitute for the multiplication of the Sacramental Life of Jesus.
Continuing in my usual state, my always lovable Jesus, on coming, told me: “My daughter, as the soul emits her acts in my Will, she multiplies my Life. So, if she does ten acts in my Will, she multiplies Me ten times; if she does twenty, a hundred, a thousand and yet more, so many times am I multiplied. It happens as in the sacramental consecration: as many hosts as they place, so many times am I multiplied. The difference which exists is that in the sacramental consecration I need the hosts in order to multiply Myself, and the priest who would consecrate Me; while in my Will, in order to be multiplied, I need the acts of the creature in which, more than in a living host - not a dead one, like those hosts before my consecration - my Will consecrates Me, and It encloses Me in the act of the creature, and I remain multiplied at each one of their acts done in my Will. Therefore, my love has its complete outpouring with the souls who do my Will and live in my Volition. They are the ones who always substitute, not only for all the acts that creatures owe Me, but for my very Sacramental Life.
How many times my Sacramental Life remains obstructed in the few hosts in which I remain consecrated, because few are the communicants. Other times there are no priests to consecrate Me, and not only is my Sacramental Life not multiplied as much as I would like, but It remains without existence. Oh! how my love suffers. I would like to multiply my Life every day into as many hosts for as many existing creatures, and give Myself to them - but I wait in vain; my Will remains without effect. However, what I have decided – everything, will have its fulfillment; therefore I take another way, and I multiply Myself in each living act of creature done in my Will, to have them substitute for the multiplication of my Sacramental Lives.
Ah! yes, only the souls who live in my Will will substitute for all the communions that creatures do not do; for all the consecrations that priests do not do. In them I will find everything - even the multiplication of my Sacramental Life.
Therefore, I repeat to you - your mission is great. I could not choose you for a higher, more noble, sublime and divine mission. There is nothing that I will not centralize in you - even the multiplication of my Life. I will make new prodigies of grace, never made until now. Therefore, I pray you, be attentive, be faithful to Me - let my Will always have life in you; and I, in my own Will in you, will find the work of Creation fully completed, with my full rights, and everything I want.”
Disputes at the Eucharist by Raphael
The Call of the Creature to the Order, to the Place and to the Purpose for Which He was Created by God
“See, even the title I want to correspond to the great work of my Will. I want the creature to understand that the place assigned to him by God is in my Will; and, as long as he does not enter into
It, he will be without place, without order, without purpose.
He will be an intruder in the Creation without rights of any kind; and, therefore, he will go wandering about without peace, without heritage; and I, moved to compassion for him will cry continuously to him: Enter into your place; come into the order; come to take your inheritance, to live in your house. Why do you want to live in a strange house? Why do you want to occupy a land that is not yours? And not being yours, you live unhappy; and you are the servant and laughingstock of all created things.”

In honor of Sr. Josefa From: (http://www.newjerusalem.com/josefa.htm) modifications by adelamaria, bsp.; child of His Divine Will.
From The Way of Divine Love…page 270
Adela Maria: When you read this prayer…try to visualize Pope John the Great saying it in English…! While he lived I mailed it to Him…I knew of His love for Our Mother.
“Josefa,” He said to her that night, “is it true that you would like something to say to My Mother that would please her? Write what I tell you.”
‘Then in ardent, burning, even enthusiastic words’, she noted, ‘He said this prayer’:
“’O tender and loving Mother, most prudent Virgin, Mother of my Redeemer, I come to salute you today with all the love that a child can feel for its mother.“’Yes, I am indeed your child, and because I am so helpless I will take the fervour of the Heart of your Divine Son; with Him I will salute you as the purest of creatures, for you were framed according to the wishes and desires of the thrice-holy God.
“’Conceived without sin, exempt from all corruption, you were ever faithful to the impulses of grace, and so your soul accumulated such merit that it was raised above all other creatures.
“’Chosen to be the Mother of Jesus Christ, you kept Him as in a most pure sanctuary, and He who came to give life to souls, Himself took life from you, and received nourishment from you.
‘’’ O incomparable Virgin! Immaculate Virgin! Delight of the Blessed Trinity, admiration of all angels and saints, you are the joy of heaven, Morning Star, Rose blossoming in springtime, Immaculate Lily, tall and graceful Iris, sweet smelling Violet, Garden enclosed kept for the delight of the King of heaven…you are my Mother, Virgin most prudent, Ark most precious containing every virtue! You are my Mother, most powerful Virgin, Virgin clement and faithful! You are my Mother, O Refuge of sinners! I salute you and rejoice at the sight of the gifts bestowed on you by the Almighty, and of the prerogatives with which He has crowned you!
“ ‘ Be blessed and praised, Mother of my Redeemer, Mother of poor sinners! Have pity on us and cover us with your motherly protection.
“’I salute you in the name of all men, of all saints and all angels.
“’Would that I could love you with the love and fire of the seraphim; and this is too little to satisfy my desires;…and to render you filial homage constant and pure for all eternity.
”’O incomparable Virgin, bless me, since I am your child. Bless all men! Protect them and pray for them to Him who is almighty and can refuse you nothing.
“’Adieu, tender and sweet Mother; day and night I salute you, in time and for eternity.”
“’Now, Josefa, praise the Mother with the words of the Son, and the Son with those of His Mother.”
“’ O Thou who knowest all my misery before Thine eyes were fixed on me—Thou didst not turn away from my wretchedness…but because of it Thou didst love me with a love more sweet and tender. I beg pardon for having corresponded so little to Thy love…I beg of Thee to forgive me, and to purify my actions in Thy divine Blood. I am deeply grieved at having offended Thee, because Thou art infinitely holy. I repent with heartfelt sorrow and I promise to do all in my power to avoid these faults in the future”.
